This team works closely with terminals, rails, depots, motor carriers, and suppliers to monitor equipment flow, ensure availability, and prevent idle resources. Documenting non-ISO processes on the regional SharePoint site. </li><li>Supporting centralized operational processes and collaborating with the Regional Operations team as needed. </li><li>Collaborating with Regional Operations Managers to optimize equipment inventory management and capacity, minimizing costs while supporting business development for Sales and Trade teams. </li><li>Providing operational analysis and support for ad-hoc projects, budgeting, and special initiatives such as operational RFPs. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills & Experience</p> <p>We're looking for candidates with:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with operational best practices and vendor cost maintenance, including contract rates, tariff processes, and job order management </li><li>A basic understanding of terminal, depot, trucking, and rail operations </li><li>Knowledge of ocean container shipping services </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <p>To succeed in this role, you should have:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective time management </li><li>A relevant degree or 1-2 years of related experience </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>All employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check</p> <p>OOCL is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
