They will manage the audio-visual design team and assess new and innovative technologies for use in academic learning spaces.</p> <p>Type of Recruitment</p> <p>Knowledge, skills and abilities</p> <p>Considerable knowledge of the technical installation of digital audio visual systems. Considerable knowledge in the design, configuration, and support of media systems and technology equipment to include digitally, computer-based audio and video systems, with output from various sources. Working knowledge of interface of digital media equipment with computer technology. Working knowledge of desktop operating systems, networking concepts, and office applications. Working knowledge of control system programming. Working knowledge to troubleshoot complex audio, video, and control systems problems. Effective communications skills. Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to understand customers' needs effectively and communicate options for problem resolution to customers. Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects. Demonstrated ability to interact with vendors and University community. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and set priorities.
