MCHC is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, supportive, and efficient experience at our clinics.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a PSR, you'll greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect payments, and support clinic operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and customer service.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and warmth. </li><li>Schedule and manage patient appointments, including follow-up visits. </li><li>Verify insurance eligibility and guide patients through financial assistance options. </li><li>Assist patients with registration, forms, and use of the patient portal. </li><li>Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records. </li><li>Maintain and update patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). </li><li>Ensure reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset. </li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting. </li><li>Experience with scheduling, insurance, or medical office work preferred. </li><li>Strong computer and data entry skills. </li></ul> <p>We Offer a Cadillac Benefits Package :</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) and 9 Paid Holidays </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>401(k) with up to 4% Employer Match </li><li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA) </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) </li></ul> <p>Other Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Two or more years' experience in healthcare, in a similar position or in another industry, in a customer service role </li><li>Bilingual, English/Spanish, fluent </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$23 to $26 an hour, DOE</p>
