AMSA is committed to preparing all students to succeed in college and beyond. Located in Marlborough, MA, AMSA includes 6th through 12th grade classes. The Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School is currently accepting applications for an Internal Substitute Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>Teachers and Staff Members at the Advanced Math and Science Academy will: Focus intensely on increasing achievement, content knowledge, and character growth for all students. Create inspiring, challenging, and effective teaching and learning experiences for all of our students. Be committed to serving all students, including English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities, in the context of the regular education classroom using a variety of inclusion models. Contribute to a strong and supportive professional learning community.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities: Provide instruction based on detailed lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher Maintain proper classroom management and follow all school policies and all required administrative duties such as class attendance. Perform all tasks that are assigned to the regular teacher on that day (bus duty, study hall lunch coverage, etc.). Manage student behavior in class and surrounding areas and provide guidance to students where applicable. Perform other related duties as directed.</p> <p>Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Strong commitment to the Advanced Math and Science Academy's mission, values, and educational model. Current authorization to work in the United States.
