This position plays a vital role in performing diagnostic tests across various species, ensuring quality control, and assisting in training future veterinary professionals in a clinical and research laboratory environment. If you're looking to get into animal diagnostics, this is your opportunity - no prior animal experience is required, and we will provide full training on the veterinary side.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform diagnostic testing, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, and cytology, on multi-species samples.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage blood banking and coagulation procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Enter and review test data in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).</p> </li><li> <p>Train students, residents, and new staff on lab procedures and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct quality control checks and routine instrument maintenance.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain lab inventory, organize referral test submissions, and update lab records.</p> </li></ul> <p>Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
