You will operate machines to perform tasks like drilling, threading, and boring on various materials. You will use CNC and manual equipment, measuring tools, hoists, and hand/power/air tools and maintain coolant levels and perform routine maintenance.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, groove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and parts</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools, and refractometer</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to read part drawings and use adjustable and fixed gauges to check work</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Medium work frequently and heavy work infrequently (Lifting 20-30lbs)</p> </li><li> <p>Escalate issues or questions about measurements or machine operation to Lead Machinist or Supervisor.</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Be able to work from verbal instructions, written work instructions, and quality plans with minimal supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Have knowledge of machining processes</p> </li><li> <p>Basic hand gauging (calipers, micrometer, torque wrench etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Have problem solving skills</p> </li><li> <p>Be able to work in a team environment</p> </li></ul> <p>Shift/Hours:</p> <ul> <li> <p>2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>The hourly pay for this role is: $24.00 - $26.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
