<p>Job Description:</p> <p>LEARN, Southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center, invites candidates to apply for a full-time Information Technology Specialist opening.</p> <p>General Scope of Responsibility</p> <p>The Information Technology Specialist will support client computing and peripheral systems; including installation, imaging and ongoing maintenance. Provides remote and on-site software installation and maintenance updates.</p> <p>Relationship within the Organization</p> <p>The Information Technology Specialist reports to the Director of Information Technology.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support client computing and peripheral systems; including installation, imaging and ongoing maintenance. </li><li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues. </li><li>Monitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner. </li><li>Document services performed /resolution efforts in detail and log in knowledgebase. </li><li>Ability to organize information, have attention to detail, accurately follow procedures, maintain confidential information, and remember important pieces of information. </li><li>Provide remote and on-site software installation and maintenance updates. </li><li>Manage and monitor anti-virus protection and system maintenance for designated desktops, notebooks, tablets, phones, printers and other peripheral devices. </li><li>Support Azure, Google and MDM's. </li><li>Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement technology policies and procedures. </li><li>Seek out functional and procedural improvements. </li><li>Understand license restrictions and confidentiality guidelines in reference to applications and client's information stored within their network. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate a high level of facility with Windows client operating system. </li><li>Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or have the capacity to become MCP certified within 90 days of start date. </li><li>Working knowledge of macOS, TCP/IP Protocol, DNS, DHCP, Sub-netting and router configuration; and related services. </li></ul> <p>Qualified applicants should apply online at https://www.applitrack.com/learn/onlineapp/ (application can be found under the Technology category).
