<p>Description</p> <p>The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <ul> <li>The Golf Course Irrigation Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining golf course irrigation systems. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Install irrigation systems and ensure that systems function efficiently </li><li>Repair and maintain valves, including quick coupler valves, trace electrical components, install and initialize clocks and timers, locate existing zones and valves, and perform pump repairs </li><li>Repair and maintain sprinklers, including quick coupler inserts </li><li>Adhere to the Company's safety policy and ensure that the public will be safe while in contact with irrigation maintenance or repairs </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year experience working with golf course irrigation systems </li><li>Strong work ethic </li><li>Effective oral communication skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Irrigation certification a plus </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds </li><li>Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night </li><li>Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>The position primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels. </li></ul> <p>BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</p> <p>This job description is subject to change at any time.</p> <p>BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
