We are looking for a dependable and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead staff, maintain production and sales goals, and create a positive shopping and donation experience for customers and donors.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Supervise, train, and support store employees </li><li>Manage store scheduling, staffing, and daily operations </li><li>Oversee donation processing, pricing, merchandising, and sales floor presentation </li><li>Monitor and communicate daily production and sales goals </li><li>Ensure excellent customer service and donor relations </li><li>Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies </li><li>Handle cash management, deposits, and register procedures </li><li>Work with Regional Management to improve store operations and performance </li><li>Support onboarding and training completion for new employees </li><li>Help maintain inventory control and minimize product loss </li></ul> <p>Training Provided</p> <ul> <li>Paid training on store operations and procedures </li><li>Ongoing leadership coaching and support </li><li>Opportunity to build retail management and operations experience </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us</p> <ul> <li>Mission-driven work that supports programs in your community </li><li>Leadership development opportunities </li><li>Team-oriented work environment </li><li>Employee Discount, Employee Assistance Program, and more! </li></ul> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lead and supervise store staff in daily operations </li><li>Reliable attendance and punctuality </li><li>Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills </li><li>Basic math and intermediate computer skills </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed </li><li>Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift </li><li>Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day </li><li>Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly </li><li>Valid Driver's License with ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army per policy </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Business, Retail, or related field </li><li>Previous retail management or thrift store experience </li><li>Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, and training </li></ul> <p>The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer.
