<p>Pharmacy Technician</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our call-center team. You will handle a high volume of inbound phone calls while ensuring exceptional customer service. The role involves receipt, review, and verification of patients' prescriptions, prepping and scanning documents, verifying patient data, and entering prescription orders into the pharmacy data system.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Verify HIPAA information and maintain confidentiality when communicating with patients and providers. </li><li>Engage in active listening, confirm or clarify information, and handle upset patients or providers as needed. </li><li>Work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy teams to meet patient and provider needs promptly. </li><li>Coordinate with call center Hub programs as applicable. </li><li>Coordinate the order and enter prescriptions based on urgency through the pharmacy processing system. </li><li>Maintain professionalism and document within processing systems per policies and procedures. </li><li>Efficiently enter data and information into the pharmacy processing system. </li><li>Accurately and efficiently enter prescription orders into the pharmacy processing system. </li><li>Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Pharmacy technician license (Florida Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician license). </li><li>Pharmacy technician certification (RPHT). </li><li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite. </li><li>Prescription knowledge. </li><li>Customer service experience. </li><li>Reliability and strong time management skills. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years of pharmacy work experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to speak Spanish is preferred. </li><li>Experience with non-commercial pharmacy. </li><li>Efficient typing skills. </li><li>Efficient in using email programs and instant messaging communications. </li><li>Ability to multitask and handle multiple requests simultaneously. </li><li>Able to sit, stand, and use computer screens for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to navigate between multiple computer programs with dexterity. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>This position is remote, based in Lake Mary, FL. </li><li>You will be provided with a laptop and headset. </li><li>The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM EST. </li><li>The hours of operation are from 7 AM to 11 PM and may change based on business needs. </li><li>Lunch is typically 30 minutes, with two 15-minute breaks, which are scheduled and non-flexible. </li></ul> <p>Contract to hire: 12 months</p> <p>Pay Rate: $21/hr</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Mary, FL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
