Are you ready to go beyond?</p> <p>In this role, you will have the responsibility to support the deployment sites by interfacing with their local SMEs to understand their equipment, process and methodologies and help them implement Model Based Manufacturing and Inspection solutions. You will also work with the Model Based Manufacturing and Inspection Capabilities team to help develop future capabilities and ensure they meet the needs of the end user. Model Based-Design Manufacturing & Inspection (MB-DMI) is a company-wide initiative to augment 3D models with formats that enable automated consumption in manufacturing business processes such as: NC programming, Tool Design, Work Instruction authoring, Inspection Programming, First Article Inspection, Process Capability Analysis monitoring & reporting, Physics based modeling, Material Review Board (MRB) for discrepant material. This effort is focused on turning this vision into reality and deploying the capability.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Interface with the P&W Site in conjunction with the broader deployment team. Identify impacted equipment and ensure that equipment is ready for the manufacturing centers transition to Model Based Enterprise. </li><li>Work with the site SMEs to assist them in developing robust Model Based Manufacturing and Inspection processes, techniques and applications. </li><li>Work with Model Based Manufacturing and Inspection capability owners to ensure solutions are prioritized and worked meeting the deployment schedule. </li><li>Support Model Based Definition with actionable customer feedback to help improve the quality of the PW technical data package. </li><li>Leverage CORE continuous improvement tools to define and improve business process within Core OpX & Module Center deployment businesses. </li><li>Create site deployment standard work resulting into a playbook for operations to execute MB-DMI readiness. </li><li>Contribute to deployment level passports for business alignment on requirements and operational readiness. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications You Must Have:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in engineering and minimum 10 years experience Manufacturing Engineering, Ops, Engineering Design, Supply Chain, Project Mgmt, Quality or equivalent or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/technical positions. </li><li>Experience with programming, automation, NC programming, CAI programming and similar. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications We Prefer:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years Design and/or Manufacturing experience using CAD, CAM, CAI or other engineering software. </li><li>Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software packages (Teamcenter) </li><li>Experience with creating CAD models, Bills of Material and managing the Lifecycle of those items. </li><li>Technical proficiency in Complex Manufacturing activities. </li><li>Experience with executing against routings or bills of process and managing deviations against those routings. </li><li>Excellent priority management skills. </li><li>Excellent knowledge of productivity software including O365, JIRA, Smartsheets, etc. </li><li>Familiarity with Teamcenter, NX, CAM, CMM programming. </li><li>Exposure to MES systems such as Solumina and ERP systems such as SAP. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of ASME Y 14.5-1994 and ASME Y 14.5-2018. </li><li>Knowledge of Model Based activities within a manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>What is your Role Type:</p> <p>In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.</p> <p>Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.</p> <p>The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
