<p>The Duckhorn Portfolio is North America's premier luxury wine company. We were established in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn. Today, our portfolio features some of North America's most revered wineries, including Duckhorn Vineyards, Decoy, Goldeneye, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing and Postmark.</p> <p>The Seasonal Deputy Weighmaster will assist the winemaking and cellar departments by providing timely and accurate weighs for grape and bulk wine trucking though the 2026 harvest. The position requires an understanding of scale operations to ensure the highest accuracy standards are being upheld while maintaining production demands and schedules. At all times, the Seasonal Deputy Weighmaster will maintain the integrity and quality of the product while adhering to Duckhorn Portfolio's philosophy and mission.</p> <p>What we will ask you to do:</p> <ul> <li>Weigh grape and bulk wine shipments as outlined in SOPs </li><li>Track and accurately record shipments using AgCode software </li><li>Prepare, complete, and review shipment documentation (i.e. BOLs, Weighmaster Certificates, etc.) </li><li>Work with the winemaking, cellar, and lab teams to ensure truck processing timing and logistical goals are achieved </li><li>Maintain records and shipping information </li><li>Communicate shipping activities to winemaking, grower relations and cellar teams </li><li>Sustain a friendly and professional relationship with growers and drivers </li><li>Perform multi-departmental duties as assigned </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized working environment </li><li>Participate in departmental and company-wide safety program </li><li>Support ISO 9001 compliance </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills </li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to learn </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work independently and stay on task </li><li>Computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Innovint a plus </li><li>Valid California driver's license and clean driving record </li></ul> <p>What we will provide:</p> <ul> <li>The hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00. </li><li>Discounts on wine and merchandise. </li><li>Sick time accrual. </li><li>A diverse team of coworkers that care about each other in a fun, exciting work environment. </li><li>A company that promotes from within provides great training and development programs and opportunities. </li></ul>
