<p>Reinsurance Analyst, Ceded Reinsurance Claims, Analytics</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Reporting to an AVP of Ceded Claims in Reinsurance Services, this position is responsible to deliver accurate, timely reporting, process improvements and operational support for reinsurance billings, audits and compliance. This role collaborates closely with internal business partners and contributes to team development and training.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure reinsurance is properly set up and attached on all claims </li><li>Review of premium records as well as other sources to validate reinsurance </li><li>Collaborate with claims handlers, finance, and underwriting teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of claim data. </li><li>Prepare accurate and timely aggregate billings on a quarterly basis </li><li>Monitor requests via a shared mailbox to ensure adequate and timely responses </li><li>Special Projects as assigned </li><li>Proactively identify issues and recommend effective solutions for streamlined approach in timely reporting reinsurance </li><li>Provide assistance to the billing team for monthly close processing </li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements (Sox controls/QC). </li><li>Support Chubb business units and interact with brokers/reinsurers </li><li>Assist in various training needs of the unit </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills a must </li><li>Proficient in all Microsoft applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other units within the department, the company and reinsurance partners </li></ul>
