All work requirements are subject to change at any time based on leader discretion and/or business need.</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>Ally's Crisis Management (CM) function operates under the Business Disruption Risk pillar of Operational Risk & Resilience. This Manager role will lead CM's Incident & Technology Management function, and report to the Director of Crisis Management & Business Continuity. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, documentation, and execution of incident response and crisis management processes. The Manager will ensure effective use of threat and asset monitoring, emergency notification, and planning/response management procedures and tools to manage incidents and mitigate business disruption. The ideal candidate will have prior crisis or emergency management experience, a background utilizing crisis management related platforms, and the ability to build collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.</p> <p>At this time, Ally will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.</p> <p>This role reports to the office on hybrid bases #LI-Hybrid</p> <p>The Work Itself</p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop the CM Incident & Technology Management team. </li><li>Oversee the development, maintenance, and execution of incident response and crisis management processes and procedures </li><li>Coordinate and lead response management activities, sometimes out of regular working hours and on weekends. </li><li>Partner routinely with other CM teams to support Ally preparedness activities-planning, training, and exercises. </li><li>Oversee day-to-day CM threat monitoring activities to facilitate timely identification and notification of, and response to, incidents or crises. </li><li>Coordinate with internal and external team members to identify and escalate potential risks and implement and track mitigation measures to support Ally's preparedness. </li><li>Manage the effective use of threat and asset monitoring, emergency notification, and planning/response management tools. </li><li>Lead enterprise-wide emergency notification testing and reporting. </li><li>Collaborate with technology partners to optimize technology solutions that support crisis management efforts. </li><li>Prepare and present situation reports and assessments to senior management and other collaborators. </li><li>Lead or support development of metrics and periodic reporting to illustrate and summarize incidents and crisis management related operations. </li></ul> <p>The Skills You Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management strongly preferred </li><li>5+ years of experience in operational risk management, crisis management, business continuity, emergency management, physical security, and/or enterprise resilience required. </li><li>Experience in risk management or crisis management within financial services, strongly preferred </li><li>Background managing or using tools common to crisis or incident management, such as incident management platforms, monitoring and tracking tools, and emergency notification systems required. </li><li>Experience coordinating or participating in the response to a major, unplanned disrupted event that required activation of incident or crisis management teams and plans required. </li><li>People management experience (managing individuals or a team) within crisis management or a related field strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with experience in incident response, situation reporting, and risk assessment. </li><li>Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to interact with others-including senior leadership and executives-in a professional manner. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>How We'll Have Your Back</p> <p>Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
