<p>08/27/2025</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>07/31/2025</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Moorestown Township Public Schools</p> <p>Moorestown, NJ</p> <p>Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)</p> <p>Salary Guide: MEA</p> <p>Salary Range: $57,131.00 - $109,547.00</p> <p>Benefits: NJ Educator's Health Plan</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <ul> <li>To support the District's instructional program by facilitating students' attainment of social, emotional and behavioral growth consistent with the goals set forth by the individual education plans (IEP). </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification. Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology or education. </li><li>Valid New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities, School Psychologist, School Social Worker or Speech Language Specialist certificate preferred.. </li><li>Successful and direct experience working with children with special needs. Experience workingFunction as part of a multidisciplinary team. </li><li>Possesses skill at conducting individual and group sessions with students and interpreting evaluative information. </li><li>Skilled at data collection and writing reports. </li><li>Able to pass the criminal background check and S414. </li></ul> <p>Job Goal:</p> <ul> <li>The Behavior Analyst, through observation, data collection, consultation and interpretation of test results, determines behavioral, adaptive, social and emotional characteristics of the student that are significant for program planning. </li></ul> <p>Performance Responsibilities:</p> <p>A. Planning</p> <ul> <li>Prepares and conducts assessments and data collection as necessary. </li><li>Maintains accurate records of all services provided. </li><li>Maintains clearly written and comprehensive reports and data which provide practical recommendations. </li></ul> <p>B. Student Evaluation</p> <ul> <li>Maintains and respects confidentiality of student and school personnel information, while maintaining the safety and welfare for all students and staff members. </li><li>Follows federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies regarding children's educational welfare. </li><li>Assesses behavioral needs of referred students and consults with appropriate professional persons regarding implications and results. </li><li>Participates in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, I-team meetings and disciplinary review meetings at various schools as needed. </li></ul> <p>C. School Community Relations</p> <ul> <li>Consults with appropriate persons concerning the educational environment and factors affecting students' learning; serves as a resource at the school level as well as within the community. </li><li>Consults and/or counsels with students, school staff, and parents regarding behavioral needs. </li><li>Responds to crisis situations in tandem with colleagues and community personnel. </li><li>Interprets and upholds School Board policy. </li></ul> <p>D. Professional Growth</p> <ul> <li>Maintains licensure; assumes responsibility for professional growth and keeps materials, supplies, and skills up-to-date. </li><li>Assists with the development and provision of in-service programs.. </li><li>Attends workshops/seminars/professional meetings to remain informed of new developments and literature in behavioral analysis. </li></ul> <p>E. Other</p> <ul> <li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Pupil Services in accordance with school/division policies and practices. </li></ul> <p>Technology Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in software applications related to role, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline, and Genesis Student Information System. </li><li>Ability to conduct meetings synchronously and asynchronously. </li></ul> <p>Evaluation of Performance:</p> <ul> <li>Performance of this piston will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demand</p> <ul> <li>Physical demands include the ability to remain in a stationary position when necessary, occasionally move throughout the building to access colleagues and/or supplies. </li><li>Ability to operate a computer and/or other office machinery.
