<p>The Dimensional Inspection Technician helps measure and inspect material and supports calibration activities for the organization working closely with our engineering teams</p> <ul> <li> <p>General Responsibilities</p> </li><li> <p>Interprets mechanical prints.</p> </li><li> <p>Collects data and conveys tests results to stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Document and record data in accordance with lab procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares technical reports with recommendations for solutions to technical problems.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs precise calibrations and preventative corrective maintenance on measuring and test equipment and tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops calibration operating procedures and documentation for all instruments.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience / Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role</p> </li><li> <p>Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results</p> </li><li> <p>Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)</p> </li></ul> <p>Dimensional Inspection activities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Mechanical print reading and GD&T interpretation</p> </li><li> <p>CMM program development</p> </li><li> <p>3D Laser scanning</p> </li><li> <p>Hand tool measurement</p> </li><li> <p>Data collection and reporting</p> </li></ul> <p>Calibration activities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Process various internal calibrations for Sensata in accordance with documented procedures.
