<ul> <li> <p>Assist with construction layout using string lines and basic layout tools</p> </li><li> <p>Read and interpret tape measurements accurately</p> </li><li> <p>Support setup and maintenance of layout instruments (transit, eye level, laser, pocket laser, backsight)</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in reading and understanding project blueprints and shop drawings</p> </li><li> <p>Work with senior team members to ensure accurate field layout</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and organize personal and company tools</p> </li><li> <p>Follow safety guidelines and jobsite procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Basic ability to read a tape measure</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with or willingness to learn layout instruments (transit, laser levels, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of basic construction math (or currently enrolled in a math course)</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to blueprint reading (layout or structural preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Currently enrolled in or completed courses such as:</p> </li><li> <p>Layout Blueprint Class</p> </li><li> <p>Structural Layout Blueprint Class</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Math</p> </li><li> <p>Bluebeam (or similar construction software)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read or beginning to understand shop drawings (company and subcontractor)</p> </li><li> <p>Must have all basic hand tools required for the job</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work outdoors and in a physically demanding environment</p> </li></ul>
