Products are manufactured at company operated facilities in the East, South, and Midwestern United States.</p> <p>We are seeking a Corporate Controller to join our team! The Corporate Controller leads the accounting and financial activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through the corporate finance team.</p> <p>This is a full-time position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM; Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees accounting operations including establishment and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP requirements, ensuring the timelines, accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial data and internal and external financial reporting. </li><li>Produce and interpret balance sheets, income statements and cash flow. Ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards. </li><li>Review journal entries and complete monthly detailed account reconciliations. </li><li>Monitor closing processes, expenses and reimbursements. </li><li>Leads the annual external audit and benefit plan audits and serves as a key point of contact for external financial auditors. </li><li>Creates and reviews all period-end activities to ensure the period-end financial statements accurately reflect the results of the Company's activities and is familiar with the specific software procedures necessary to make final adjustments prior to closing out the period. </li><li>In conjunction with the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, prepares reports and recommendations to Senior Leadership and the CFO. </li><li>Promote and enable key talent management activities including development and coaching of finance talent, succession pipeline management, recruitment, etc. </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <p>To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate the following competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Judgement: Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision making process; makes timely decisions. </li><li>Proven Results as a Financial Leader: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate broad-based functional competence with a proven track record of results. The candidate should be focused on coaching and mentoring the financial staff as well as helping business leaders to develop financial acumen. </li><li>Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university in Accounting, Finance or Administration </li><li>Minimum of 10 years related experience </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.</p> <p>Reasoning Ability</p> <p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
