<p>At Interim HealthCare, giving isn't just a job- it's a calling. As a Cerified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) your compassion can make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with health challenges all from the comfort of their own homes.</p> <p>This is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis. Your schedule will vary depending on the cases available and the number of hours required for each case.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct in-home care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease </li><li>Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake </li><li>Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, and transportation </li><li>Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises </li><li>Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes </li><li>Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient's care plan is followed </li><li>Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment </li><li>Perform other CNA/PCA duties as assigned, in accordance with the care plan and supervision guidelines </li></ul> <p>Caregiver Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current CNA certification or equivalent experience as a personal care aide </li><li>At least 6 months of previous experience in home health or long-term care setting preferred </li><li>Current CPR certification </li><li>Negative TB test (within past 12 months) </li><li>Valid driver's license, auto insurance and transportation </li><li>Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check </li><li>Compassionate nature, dependable, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>$16.00 - $18.00/hr (depending on experience/qualifications and case assignment) </li><li>Weekly pay </li><li>Paid training </li><li>Assignment acceptance & shift pick-up bonuses </li><li>Make your own schedule, work independently and enjoy work-life balance </li><li>Build your skills with online training </li></ul>
