Other duties include, but are not limited to: customer service and departmental efficiencies. The OR Asst is under the direct supervision of the MSO, Charge Nurse or OR lead member. Assignments are given according to organizational goals. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility</p> <ul> <li>Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job: Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 50lbs. or more, constant (80-90% of the time). </li><li>Dexterity to operate equipment. </li><li>Communication skills to take direction or instructions. Ability to articulate with a diverse and multidisciplinary team. </li><li>Awareness of potential exposure to injury of hazardous materials. </li><li>Knowledge of disinfectants germicides, and sterilants. </li><li>Knowledge of infection control, AORN, and AAMI standards related to job functions. </li><li>Knowledge of government regulations: JCAHO, OSHA, Waste Management. </li><li>Hospital Operating Room experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.</p>
