<p>What We Are Looking For</p> <p>PRIMARY PURPOSE: Maintains and repairs mechanical equipment in assigned geographical area.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Install, maintain, trouble-shoot, and repair all pipeline related equipment (Valves, Pumps, Electric valve actuators, Turbine meters, Tanks, etc). </li><li>Calibrate mechanical pressure gauges. </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment. </li><li>Budget and procure parts and tools when necessary. </li><li>Provide assistance in repairs, maintenance, and operation of all equipment and right of way. </li><li>Participates in the training of O & M Personnel. </li><li>May be required to handle basic electrical, right of way, operational, and general maintenance duties. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Valid Driver's license. </li><li>Two or four year Mechanical Technology degree/certificate or equivalent desired. </li><li>Sufficient relevant experience and mechanical technician related work experience in an industrial environment to satisfactorily perform job. </li><li>Sufficient on the job experience performing mechanical technician related duties in an industrial environment to be able to do job. </li><li>Good technical and analytical ability. </li><li>Physically able to carry out job requirements. </li><li>Basic computer skills. </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend written communications. </li><li>Ability to accept supervision and direction and to work efficiently and cooperatively with other people. </li><li>Must be able and willing to work overtime and to respond to callouts to perform work as needed. </li><li>Must be able to work outside and inside in all weather conditions. </li><li>Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more. </li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC). </li></ul> <p>Why Join Kinder Morgan</p> <p>Kinder Morgan is a large energy infrastructure company operating in North America.
