<p>Position Summary: Join our dynamic and fun environment as a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), where you will work closely with a team of specialty area providers to deliver exceptional patient care. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Patient Care:</p> </li><li> <p>Implement treatment plans designed by the licensed physical therapist to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and enhance overall physical function.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, stretches, and other prescribed activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor patient performance during therapy sessions and provide feedback to the supervising physical therapist.</p> </li><li> <p>Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and recovery strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Documentation and Reporting:</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately document patient progress and response to treatments.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain thorough records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate observations and patient concerns to the supervising physical therapist.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration and Teamwork:</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with the physical therapy team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in maintaining therapy equipment and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and patient care discussions.</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance and Professionalism:</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold organizational policies and standards of ethical care.</p> </li><li> <p>Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain active licensure.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). </li><li>Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. </li><li>Experience preferred but not required. New graduates are welcome, and we are open to training. </li><li>CPR and First Aid certification preferred. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations. </li><li>Physical stamina to assist patients and perform therapy activities. </li></ul>
