<p>Job Description</p> <p>Infosys is seeking a Technology SAP ABAP Architect</p> <p>This position will require a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client's and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.</p> </li><li> <p>At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology</p> </li><li> <p>The location is Indianapolis, IN. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Analyze business requirements to identify best possible technical solutions </li><li>Responsible for reviewing solutions designed by the team members and proposing improvements. </li><li>Guide/mentor/lead the team for successful project deliveries. </li><li>Responsible for liaising with client business teams and advising the client. </li><li>Responsible for preparing proposals and effort estimates for upcoming projects. </li><li>Dealing with 3rd party applications and integrating them with SAP systems. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and experience</p> <ul> <li>SAP S/4 ABAP, ABAP OOPs </li><li>Flexible Workflows </li><li>CDS views, AMDP methods </li><li>OData services </li><li>Webservices </li><li>Fiori In-App extension </li><li>Knowledge of HANA studios, Eclipse tools </li><li>Knowledge in defining API target endpoints and utilizing API Business Hub Enterprise. </li><li>In depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and execution of agile scrum methodology. </li><li>Extensively worked on Exits, Enhancements, BAPIs' and Cloud Business Add-ins (BADI). </li><li>Good in Performance Tuning, debugging and new way of coding techniques </li><li>End-to-end development of software products including requirement phase (HLSD), design (FD and TD), Implementation, Testing (TUT- Technical Unit Testing, FUT- Functional Unit Testing and UAT- User Acceptance Testing), </li><li>Experience in deployment in production box (Go Live) and Post-Production Support. </li><li>Excellent communication and time management skills with strong analytical problem solving and decision-making capability. </li><li>Proficient at transforming functional requirements into technical requirements and designing technical solutions. </li></ul> <p>Desired skills</p> <ul> <li>ABAP RESTful Programming Model (BTP RAP) </li><li>Proficient in integrating cloud and on-premise applications using SAP Integration Suite. </li></ul> <p>The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.</p>
