If you excel in managing complex audits, leading teams, and building strong client relationships, we want to hear from you.</p> <p>As an Audit Accounting Supervisor, you will take charge of managing and executing complex accounting and audit assignments. This includes directing audit engagements, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring technical accuracy, all while staying within budgeted timelines. You'll work closely with clients, senior auditors, and associate accountant auditors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Technical Expertise:</p> <ul> <li>Review accounting and auditing engagements, ensuring compliance with GAAS, GAGAS, and SSARS. </li><li>Conduct and oversee accounting research and implement new standards. </li><li>Develop a deep understanding of client businesses and industries. </li></ul> <p>Leadership and Project Management:</p> <ul> <li>Organize and oversee audit phases, ensuring staff development and client satisfaction. </li><li>Delegate tasks effectively, review workpapers, and monitor project timelines. </li><li>Provide consistent feedback to team members. </li></ul> <p>Client and Firm Relations:</p> <ul> <li>Build and maintain strong client relationships. </li><li>Provide recommendations to improve client business practices. </li><li>Participate in practice development and community engagement. </li></ul> <p>Communication and Development:</p> <ul> <li>Summarize and present findings to clients and internal teams. </li><li>Train and mentor senior and staff auditors. </li><li>Maintain and expand professional expertise through continuing education. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Advanced Degree preferred </li><li>5+ years of public accounting experience </li><li>Experience supporting Not-For-Profit & Government clients </li><li>Proficiency with audit software and technologies </li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and related standards. </li><li>CPA exam preparation is encouraged and supported by our Plan to Pass Program </li><li>Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills </li><li>Valid drivers license or reliable transportation </li></ul>
