<p>About UPC</p> <p>UPC designs and manufactures retail store fixtures, and P.O.P. displays.</p> <p>Located in Madison WI, we operate in a 120,000 square ft, clean facility.</p> <p>Family owned for over 48 years and growing, we are employee centric with great employee retention.</p> <p>UPC is looking for dedicated and experienced employees for</p> <p>Administrative, Design, Engineering and all levels of manufacturing.</p> <p>Please apply to our team.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <ul> <li>Create and maintain on time production schedule </li><li>Oversees and organizes all materials, manufacturing processes, & staffing for their department </li><li>Manages up to 6 people and multiple projects simultaneously </li><li>Provides training & information for their team to successfully complete jobs within UPC standards. </li><li>Ensures the highest levels of safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and production efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Facility Equipment & Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Operating various hand and power tools and light machinery </li><li>Clean manufacturing and warehouse environment </li><li>Must be physically able to push, pull, and lift </li><li>Hands on supervisor on the production floor </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent related work experience </li><li>2-5 years of experience successfully leading teams in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Familiarity with shop tools and light equipment </li><li>Knowledge of related production processes and machines. Must also have good materials knowledge. </li><li>Ability to read technical drawings. </li><li>Basic computer competency required in Microsoft Office.
