Assists by performing routine resident related care duties and activities of daily living.</p> <p>JOB DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>The Medication Aide accepts, accounts and documents all new medications brought into the facility. Safely prepares and aides with resident self-administration of medications. Maintains accurate medication documentation and records. </li><li>Guides the resident in maintaining their schedule of daily activities, while maintaining the residents sense of independence. Individualizes care and assistance provided to each resident depending on level of functioning. </li><li>Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. </li><li>What you will bring </li></ul> <p>Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate, student or equivalent. </li><li>Completion of required RCFE training as Medication Technician </li><li>Current First Aid & CPR certification. </li><li>At least one year of experience as a caregiver in a facility or in-home caregiving </li><li>Ability to work in a health care and CCRC environment </li><li>Knowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniques </li><li>Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English </li><li>High school graduate or equivalent. </li><li>Must maintain current First Aid </li><li>Legally Authorized to work in the United States. </li><li>Please apply to this job or look at other available positions using the link below! </li></ul>
