<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>This Social Work position will be located within a Syracuse City School to offer consultation and referral services to address the psychosocial needs of students and their families. Using a wide range of interventions and treatment modalities, the Social Worker contributes to the achievement of optimum health, satisfaction, and cost-effective care by addressing the behavioral, social, and environmental issues that may impede care.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>L.M.S.W., L.C.S.W. or eligible, 3 years relevant post-master's experience (preferably in a hospital and/or healthcare environment) required. New M.S.W. graduates who are L.M.S.W. eligible will be considered for appointment to entry level (SL2) position at a commensurate salary after obtaining a Limited Permit.
