<p>About the Job</p> <p>We are seeking talented individuals to support our building structural practice (industrial & Commercial buildings). You will play a key role in the design, permitting, and construction of food facilities throughout the United States. You will be a member of our structural department and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Applying extensive and diverse knowledge of principles and practices for a wide range of materials and construction techniques. </li><li>Lead in performing hand calculations and creating computer analysis models for structural design tasks. </li><li>Lead in coordinating structural work with other disciplines </li><li>Drafting sketches, contract drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD. </li><li>Reviewing project documentation for conformity and quality assurance. </li><li>Reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and calculations </li><li>Lead in estimating construction costs with quantity take offs and historic costs </li><li>Conducting field inspections & condition assessments and prepare reports </li><li>Researching structural engineering materials and best practices </li><li>Supporting talent growth within our organization </li><li>Assists with interviewing and hiring new team members </li><li>Handle complex issues and tasks with minimal supervision and advise subordinate team members on solutions to issues they encounter. </li><li>Provide coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group when directed by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering </li><li>8+ years of relevant structural experience (industrial and commercial building structure) </li><li>8+ years of experience performing calculations, creating analysis models for structural designs </li><li>8+ years of experience in structural and concrete drafting sketches, contract drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit </li><li>RAM Structural system and RAM Elements knowledge or experience is a plus </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) License </li><li>Detailed planning and organization skills. </li><li>Experience with structural analysis software </li><li>Ability to travel to project sites as needed (15 days a year) </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>We plan, design, engineer, and build food plants for major brands across the country and the world.
