Learn more about the College here.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Albertus Magnus College invites applications for a full-time, live-in Residential Life and Deputy Title IX Coordinator (RLC). This 12-month position plays a vital role in cultivating a safe, inclusive, and engaging residential community for up to 350 residents across six residential facilities. The RLC is responsible for developing a vibrant, student-centered living-learning environment through leadership, mentorship, crisis management, policy enforcement, and Title IX support. This role blends student development, administrative oversight, and compliance work into a highly impactful opportunity within the Division of Student Affairs.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Provide leadership and daily oversight for all residential facilities and programs. </li><li>Supervise two Assistant Residential Life Coordinators (ARLCs) and indirectly manage a team of 12-14 student Resident Assistants (RAs). </li><li>Recruit, train, and evaluate residential life staff, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and inclusion. </li><li>Develop and implement educational and social programming that supports community engagement, wellness, and personal development. </li><li>Serve in a rotating on-call capacity for crisis intervention and emergency response, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. </li><li>Collaborate with Facilities and Public Safety to maintain safe, well-functioning residential spaces. </li><li>Support the College's Title IX compliance efforts by assisting with investigations, report intake, training, and case management. </li><li>Serve on the College's Title IX Hearing Committee and act as a trained Student Conduct Officer for behavioral incidents within the residence halls. </li><li>Maintain accurate records and contribute to assessment and policy development initiatives related to student housing, Title IX, and Community Standards. </li><li>Maintain a visible presence in residence halls and on campus, including regular contact with residents and RAs. </li><li>Serve as Student Conduct Officer for lower-level policy violations. </li><li>Maintain knowledge of current state, federal, and institutional law and regulations regarding trends in Student Affairs, Residential Life, and Title IX. </li><li>Perform end-of-year damage billing, Health and Safety inspections, and New Student Orientations. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications and Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Demonstrated supervisory, mentoring, or peer leadership experience. </li><li>2-3 years of Professional Residential Life experience or live-in-on-call experience preferred. </li><li>Experience developing and /or implementing training programs or recruitment is preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, and Clergy Act. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Student Housing Software. </li><li>Familiarity with Title IX regulations, the Clery Act, and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA); formal training in these areas is a plus. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a commitment to student development. </li><li>Experience working with diverse populations. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule Requirements:</p> <p>8:30 AM - 4:30 PM; flexibility required for occasional evening hours.</p> <p>Hybrid work options are available after successfully completing 90 days of employment.</p> <p>Benefits at a Glance:</p> <p>Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. They accrue between 18 and 23 days of paid time off annually. After 90 days of employment, tuition remission is available, with the college covering 100% of tuition costs (employees are responsible for books and technology fees)-the college values work-life balance, offering a summer schedule from June through August. Employees also enjoy 14 paid holidays, including a winter break.
