We also understand the auto warranty business and work with consumers and corporate clients by providing exceptional expertise and personal service.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>We have immediate openings for Mobile Pre-Purchase Independent Contractor Inspectors (1099) in most US cities. You would be an independent contractor and paid a flat rate by our company for your services. Jobs typically pay between $70-150 per inspection with most inspections taking less than an hour</p> <p>AS A CONTRACTOR (1099)</p> <ul> <li>Set your own schedule </li><li>Negotiate your rate(s) </li><li>Accept the jobs you want </li><li>Set your work area </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 2 years of automotive maintenance/technician experience </li><li>You must be detailed-oriented </li><li>You must be dependable with reliable transportation </li><li>You need to be able to use a cell-phone and computer </li><li>Provide good customer service and communication skills </li><li>Have the ability to work independently and have a self-starter attitude </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Walk, bend, stoop, or stand to complete the required tasks </li><li>Ability to drive to the vehicle location, using your own vehicle </li><li>Be available during daylight hours </li><li>Ability to complete assignments within a 48-hour window during daylight hours </li><li>Supply your own equipment and tools to complete the job </li></ul> <p>The following tools are required prior to your first assignment:</p> <ul> <li>Tire tread gauge </li><li>Code reader or OBD II Scanner </li><li>A valid state driver's license for the state you are working in along with </li></ul> <p>current vehicle insurance and registration</p> <ul> <li>Cell-phone or camera that takes photos </li><li>A magnet or Paint thickness gauge </li></ul>
