<p>Position: Porter</p> <p>Location: Auburn Hills, MI</p> <p>Reports To: Department Manager</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>The Porter is tasked with various support functions aligned with Mechanical, Paint, Quality and</p> <p>Company Vehicle Operations. The Porter may move vehicles on public roads between locations or may</p> <p>also organize vehicles in lots on ground.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <p>Responsible for moving company vehicles to appropriate location</p> <p>Parking lot organization of vehicles in accordance with lot numbering</p> <p>Responsible for fueling, vacuuming and cleaning/washing company vehicles</p> <p>Perform physical inspections of used vehicles</p> <p>Receive new vehicles inspection for damage, cleanliness, etc.</p> <p>Assist in the exchange process of vehicles being dropped off or picked up</p> <p>Reconciling vehicle shippers and recording VIN #s to match with inventory system</p> <p>Shuttle technical personnel between work locations</p> <p>Filing of vehicle paperwork and other office tasks</p> <p>Following all company policies relating to safe driving</p> <p>Other duties deemed necessary by management</p> <p>Position Qualifications:</p> <p>Education HS diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Excellent driving record (less than 4 points on driving record)</p> <p>Able to drive a manual transmission</p> <p>Strong organizational skills</p> <p>Excellent customer service skills</p> <p>Capable written and oral communication</p> <p>Ability to work in a fast paced environment</p> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <p>Lifting Requirements: 5 25lbs.</p> <p>Activity Requirements: moderate to high level of physical activity</p>
