<p>BIM Coordinator (Visual Design Construction)</p> <p>Work Location: 601 First Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504</p> <p>Position Classification: Full Time Exempt</p> <p>About This Opportunity</p> <p>Rockford is looking for a key member of Virtual Design Construction team. Leading BIM Coordination process and assisting project teams with the implementation of Technology, Building Information Models and Virtual Design and Construction methodologies.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion. </li><li>Work closely with the MEP & VDC Manager to support in-house pre-construction team, design team and project management team with day-to-day and long-term duties, tasks, and training. </li><li>Assist with the MEP & VDC Manager in developing/maintaining BIM associated contracts and documents. </li><li>Assist with the MEP & VDC Manager in exploring more VDC Applications (4D scheduling, 5D cost, nD, etc.) </li><li>Manage and analyze models provided by Architects, Engineers, trade contractors and consultants to identify coordination and constructability issues. </li><li>Develop 3D models through Revit as necessary for coordination purpose only. </li><li>Collaboratively conduct BIM coordination meetings with construction team, design team and trade contractors </li><li>Manage coordination process, conduct clash detection, visual walkthroughs, and clash-free signoff to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. </li><li>Field Check for QA/QC and provide site reports. </li><li>Conduct BIM close-out process, including the final as-built models. </li></ul>
