We seek differences of opinion, life experience and perspective to represent the diversity of our policyholders and achieve the best possible outcomes.</p> <p>This role does not currently offer employment visa sponsorship.</p> <p>This role requires onsite days on our Lincoln, RI corporate campus.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Design Researcher will be responsible for conducting customer centric research in support of the organization's innovation strategy and goals. The role will draw upon their experience to select the most appropriate techniques and tools for various research activities, collaborating across the enterprise and involving customers and prospects as warranted.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>With relative independence, lead enterprise design research for consumer facing products that includes promoting the use and organizational understanding of human-centered design practices in developing new innovative products, services and offerings. </li><li>Develop and implement Human Centered and Customer Experience research methods and models. </li><li>Plan and lead survey design and analysis, in-depth interviews, focus groups and other research methods to discover the motivations, behaviors, and needs of customers. </li><li>Translate research into valuable insights and strategies to help foster design innovation and create experiences that connect with customers. </li><li>Develop compelling and memorable stories to communicate the customer experience and help ground business strategy. </li><li>Assist with the development of implementation roadmaps for potential new and innovative products. </li><li>Perform significant facilitation amongst stakeholders, business units and external vendors. </li><li>Work with a variety of consultants and vendors to further the goals and objectives of key business initiatives. </li><li>May be called upon to handle other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, master's preferred, in a related field with two or more years of experience conducting design and/or customer experience research and strategy, preferably in consumer products and offerings. </li><li>Broad experience with human-centered design and/or customer experience research methods applied across the product development process. </li><li>Solid understanding and experience with Ai tools to enhance, expand and accelerate outputs </li><li>A combination of web, mobile, digital or other consumer facing products or innovations. </li><li>Research methods that might include qualitative and quantitative research, segmentation, contextual inquiries, surveys, A/B testing, card-sorting, expert (heuristic) reviews, and persona development. </li><li>Knowledge of emerging research approaches, tools, and ways to present findings. </li><li>Work well in a team environment as well as independently </li></ul> <p>Total Rewards:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance </li><li>Paid Vacation - you will receive at least 13 vacation days in the first 12 months, amounts could be greater depending on the role.
