<p>Job Description</p> <p>Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight for transit. Effectively and efficiently operating mobile technology and completing all required paperwork. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate mobile technology. </li><li>Operate forklift, pallet jack or other material handling equipment. </li><li>Load and unload trailers. </li><li>Other duties and projects, as assigned. </li><li>Complete all required paperwork. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma / GED, required </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and meet medical requirements. </li><li>Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement. </li><li>Prior forklift experience preferred but not required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Make more money! Wages are Teamster Union Scale which are greater than most other carriers! Hourly employees also receive overtime pay after 8 hours/day. </li><li>All Union Employees receive health and welfare benefits with no employee paid premiums. </li><li>Each employee receives 7 days of sick leave each January 1st.
