<p>Ascension Saint Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring a PRN ECT RN!</p> <p>Schedule: M/W/F</p> <p>Shift: 7am to 1pm</p> <p>Ascension Saint Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital is Nashville's Leading behavioral health treatment center and is a 90-bed adult (18+) inpatient psychiatric hospital that provides a full continuum of behavioral health treatment services for adults from 18-64 and Seniors 65 and older</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Provide education about the ECT procedure and obtain a level of understanding from the patient and family. </li><li>Work within the treatment team to provide pre-treatment assessment, treatment monitoring and post-anesthesia recovery management for patients and assure the smooth flow of patients through the ECT process. </li><li>Participate in development and evaluation of nursing practices provided in the clinical setting and the overall function of the clinical area including the ECT Suite. </li><li>Use multiple data sources to determine actual/potential health issues, functional status and safety concerns. </li><li>Communicate patient's condition and need for altered care with treatment team. </li><li>Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients, initiates and continues pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation and EKG monitoring throughout treatment and recovery. </li><li>Demonstrate safe, accurate and timely monitoring of cardiac and respiratory status and promote interventions that provide the least-restrictive and safest recovery. </li></ul> <p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Current RN License as required by state. </li><li>Current ACLS certification and Current IV Certification required. </li><li>CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). </li><li>First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements. </li></ul> <p>We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p> <p>AHRN</p> <p>#LI-AST</p> <p>#LI-SW2</p>
