<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>This position is responsible for reviewing financial/insurance information obtained to meet State, Federal and Third Party billing requirements and to ensure reimbursement for services. Must satisfy admission notice requirements with pre-certification and HMO companies to avoid payment penalties. Reviews and processes Self Pay patients for government assistance, arranges for financial agreements for hospital and Anesthesia and solicits payment for non-covered services. Must edit, update and file all new information gathered for each admission. In addition, assists patients with billing related inquiries.
