The teacher is responsible for delivering instruction aligned with grade-level standards while implementing proactive behavior interventions and social-emotional learning. The role includes supervising support staff and including students into general education settings.?</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Instruction & Behavior Support</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design and deliver academic instruction and evidence-based curriculum with embedded behavior strategies and social-emotional skills.?</p> </li><li> <p>Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and use data-driven strategies.?</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate student inclusion opportunities in general education per IEPs.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Leadership</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise and schedule paraprofessionals and behavior technicians.?</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a therapeutic, safe, and structured learning environment.?</p> </li><li> <p>Provide adult team members with guidance, training, and feedback.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Assessment & Case Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Fulfill case management responsibilities, including progress monitoring and IEP compliance.?</p> </li><li> <p>Administer evaluations, write reports, and manage documentation in CT-SEDS.?</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct data and participate in functional behavior assessments and crisis planning.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Communication & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain open, proactive communication with families.?</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with BCBAs, counselors, administrators, and external agencies.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Participate actively in PPT meetings and contribute to IEP development.?</p>
