All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, ancestry, color, disability, familial status, gender or gender identity, genetic information, military service, national origin, pregnancy and related conditions, race, religion, sex, veteran status, or any other basis prohibited by law.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Responds to work order requests for repairs and maintenance as assigned to resolve issues in a timely manner </li><li>Performs preventative maintenance activities on campus and provides recommendations for materials needed or modifications to maintenance performed based on existing conditions </li><li>Responds to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner </li><li>Conducts routine building inspections to make sure the university equipment and systems are operating efficiently, submits work orders requests to address issues, as needed </li><li>Prepares facilities for special events </li><li>Shovels snow and applies salt, as needed </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED) </li><li>Experience working in general maintenance or other related experience </li><li>Valid U.S. driver's license based on location </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule (e.g., 11pm-7am academic year/ 7am-3pm summer) </li></ul> <p>Please Note:</p> <p>Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.</p> <p>Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until job posting is closed.</p>
