<p>Position Information</p> <p>Posting Number NC00810 Position Title Box Office Manager Division Administration and Finance Division Department Name College Events & Engagement Position Type Staff - Non Classified Primary Purpose</p> <p>The Box Office Manager, under the direction of the operations manager, manages the daily operation of the Box Office in the Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), as well as evening and weekend operations of the Box Office spaces in the NCPA, Event Center, and other signature Events on Campus. Manage the staff of student employees for NCPA. Manage financial accounting and reporting for all Box Office receivables and payables, as well as departmental budgets. Organize, develop, and maintain computerized Box Office software.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <ul> <li>Administer Box Office management, including working with internal and external users to establish and perform event services; </li></ul> <p>Establish, manage, and maintain ticket sales.</p> <p>Settle and balance ticket income for distribution to internal and external event</p> <p>producers.</p> <p>Create bi-annual audit, settlement and deposit for all Box Office accounting.</p> <ul> <li>Organize and maintain operations of specialized Box Office software and equipment and coordinate outside support of said software. </li><li>On-Board, train, oversee and assist in staffing of student workers to staff operations of the spaces in the Nazarian Center for Performing Arts, Event Center, and signature events. </li><li>Work ticketed events to ensure smooth operations, including late night and weekend events. </li><li>Assist Operations Manager and Director with budgetary transactions for the department of College Events and Engagement, including purchase orders, transfers, check requests, and budget tracking. </li><li>Exhibit a high degree of tact and sensitivity, deal directly with students, faculty and staff, alumni, and community members. </li><li>Assist with the planning, coordinating, and implementing annually scheduled special events, including but not limited to Convocations, Commencement Activities, and all special events as deemed by college administration. </li></ul> <p>Occasional Duties</p> <p>Perform other duties as required.</p> <p>Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills. </li><li>Excellent accounting and bookkeeping skill. </li><li>Good knowledge of computer software and hardware. </li><li>Working knowledge of computerized ticketing systems. </li><li>Graphic design skills. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Bilingual and English / Spanish (fluent in speaking and writing). </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Does this position have Direct Reports?
