<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Supervisor to join the team in our Breast Center!</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time Days, 8 hour shifts</p> <p>The Breast Center Supervisor is responsible for daily operations, staff leadership, and regulatory compliance of breast imaging services. This role ensures high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety and accreditation standards. The Supervisor collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient experience and departmental performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervises Breast Center colleagues and day-to-day operations, including hiring, onboarding, training, and annual performance evaluations.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors productivity and payroll accuracy; ensures staffing levels meet patient care needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains licensure competency and can perform technologist duties when required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures a safe, clean, and organized work environment; promptly addresses facility issues and escalates concerns to the Manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Responds effectively to emergencies and ensures staff readiness through daily safety huddles.</p> </li><li> <p>Leads initiatives to achieve patient satisfaction goals; evaluates departmental needs and recommends improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Actively participates in facility meetings and quality improvement programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and manages work schedules, duty assignments, and emergency coverage for a 24/7 operation.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains adequate inventory of supplies within budget guidelines; collaborates with Manager on operational budget planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains proficiency in EMR and imaging archiving systems; ensures accurate scheduling, documentation, and billing processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews and corrects charge discrepancies to support revenue integrity.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees radiation safety program in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO); manages dosimetry reports and badge distribution.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains ACR accreditation and MQSA compliance; completes and monitors quality assurance logs.</p> </li><li> <p>Establishes and monitors competency programs; ensures annual continuing education for all staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Represents the department in assigned meetings and conducts monthly staff meetings to communicate updates and initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Interprets and enforces personnel policies; addresses performance issues and escalates concerns to the Manager as appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Promotes a positive work environment through fair and consistent application of policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Effectively communicates departmental policies, quality assurance standards, and safety protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Encourages a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with Manager to research and recommend new equipment or technology to enhance efficiency and patient care.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Certifications: ARRT (Mammography) required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: 5 years in mammography</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years supervisory experience.</p> </li></ul> <p>We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage</p> </li><li> <p>Retirement Savings Program</p> </li><li> <p>Paid Time Off</p> </li><li> <p>Tuition Reimbursement</p> </li><li> <p>Free Parking</p> </li><li> <p>And more!</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
