<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Material Handler II is responsible for performing a wide range of tasks related to material handling, customer service, and equipment operation. This position requires previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate forklifts and other yard equipment with proper certification. </li><li>Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring materials are handled safely. </li><li>Assist customers with material selection, loading, and product inquiries. </li><li>Maintain accurate inventory by properly stocking, organizing, and rotating materials. </li><li>Perform basic yard maintenance to ensure a safe and organized work environment. </li><li>Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies. </li><li>Assist in coordinating deliveries and shipments as needed. </li><li>Provide guidance and training to Material Handler I employees. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction-related environment. </li><li>Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one within the first 60 days). </li><li>Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments. </li><li>Basic knowledge of building materials and their applications is a plus. </li><li>Strong customer service and teamwork skills. </li></ul>
