<p>Kforce's client, a regional public accounting firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an Audit Supervisor. This firm offers a competitive salary with a year-end bonus along with a good work life balance and benefits.</p> <p>Key Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Audit Supervisor will be responsible for managing & performing audits, reviews and compilates for clients in the non-profit industry </li><li>Identifies and communicates to management and audit committee suggestions to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures </li><li>Identify and delegate functions of the audit to the auditor in charge as deemed appropriate </li><li>Supervise the work of the audit team and review workpapers and conclusions preferably onsite during audit field work </li><li>Identifies and consults with clients on the impact of new accounting pronouncements </li><li>Presents and discuss alternative generally accepted accounting principles and arguments for/against such alternatives </li><li>As an Audit Supervisor, you will draft complex financial statements and related footnote disclosures and effectively communicates these to client </li><li>Identifies complex accounting issues and forms and documents resolution, seeking counsel of the firm's audit partners as needed* Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li>CPA or pursuing CPA </li><li>Minimum 5+ years with public accounting audit for non-profit companies </li><li>Experience with the yellow book is required </li><li>Experience supervising and mentoring staff </li></ul>
