<p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Radiation Oncology Dosimetrist to join our healthcare team in Baltimore. Located in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards, you won't find a more vibrant place to work!</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry, Radiation Therapy, or related field </li><li>Current Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in radiation oncology treatment planning </li><li>Proven expertise in 3D treatment planning and various radiation therapy techniques </li><li>Proficiency in treatment planning systems and radiation dose calculation software </li><li>Strong knowledge of radiation oncology protocols and cancer treatment methodologies </li><li>Extensive understanding of medical physics principles and radiation safety standards </li><li>Experience with quality assurance procedures and documentation </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Like many employers, UMMS is being targeted by cybercriminals impersonating our recruiters and offering fake job opportunities.
