<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Researcher in South Jordan, UT.</p> <p>Overview: The UX Research team is seeking a UX Research Contractor to support a new usability research program focused on first-time user onboarding experiences. This role will partner closely with Product, UX Design, Engineering, QA, and Data teams to generate actionable insights that improve onboarding journeys for new users.</p> <p>This is a highly visible role, ideal for a researcher comfortable running research end-to-end, facilitating sessions independently, synthesizing insights quickly, and advocating for the user across cross-functional teams.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and operate a continuous usability research program focused on new user onboarding </li><li>Plan, facilitate, and synthesize weekly usability research sessions with new users </li><li>Independently moderate remote usability studies end-to-end </li><li>Partner with Product, UX Design, Engineering, QA, and Data teams to surface insights </li><li>Communicate clear, actionable findings to senior and cross-functional stakeholders </li><li>Track and organize insights to support prioritization and decision-making </li><li>Recruit research participants and manage logistics for both remote and in-person sessions </li><li>Conduct periodic in-person research sessions onsite in South Jordan, UT* Bachelor's degree in HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, Anthropology, Industrial Design, or related research field (Graduate degree preferred) </li><li>4+ years of experience conducting qualitative UX research and usability studies </li><li>Proven experience running rapid, recurring research with fast turnaround </li><li>Ability to lead research independently with minimal oversight </li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tight timelines </li><li>Experience presenting research findings to cross-functional and senior stakeholders </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills across UX, Product, Engineering, QA, and Data teams </li><li>Strong user advocacy mindset grounded in real user behavior </li></ul> <p>Preferred/Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working on products that combine software and hardware components </li><li>Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines (hardware, software, marketing, etc.) </li><li>Familiarity with a wide range of UX research tools and platforms </li><li>Creative background, crafting, or hands-on hobby experience </li></ul>
