For non-publicly traded investments, including private equity, private debt, and real estate, the team applies careful judgment to the unique circumstances of each asset while adhering to consistent valuation methodologies and processes. Our Valuation team develops and updates valuation models for all private investments on a regular basis. These valuations undergo a rigorous quarterly review by valuation committees representing all private investment strategies. The team collaborates closely with portfolio management and regularly interacts with external auditors, investors, and independent valuation firms to ensure transparency and accuracy. For publicly traded securities, the Pricing team oversees the valuation process, utilizing independent pricing vendors for various security types, including bank debt, derivatives, bonds, equities, and structured products.</p> <p>For additional information please visit our website at www.oaktreecapital.com.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The position of Administrative Assistant reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Pricing & Valuation, will be based in downtown Los Angeles and will provide administrative support to other individuals within this department.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain complex calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls and manage meeting logistics; </li><li>Assist in preparation of valuation committee and board presentation </li><li>Arrange and prepare travel arrangements/itineraries </li><li>Prepare expense reports </li><li>Assist to validate invoices </li><li>Manage logistics of meetings including, but not limited to, booking the conference room, ordering food and set up, assembling data/materials and updating and distributing the agenda </li><li>Work independently on special projects under general direction of management, including coordination of finance training initiative meetings, walkthrough meetings, department offsite meetings, special events and inter-departmental meetings </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience supporting multiple team members within a professional services firm </li><li>Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks; and </li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. </li></ul> <p>Personal Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills </li><li>Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention-to-detail </li><li>Self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative and prioritize work; and </li><li>Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <p>Bachelor's degree preferred.</p> <p>Base Salary</p> <p>$60,000 - $100,000</p> <p>In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement.
