<p>Accounts Receivable Specialist</p> <p>Reporting to AR Supervisor, the AR Specialist role will be focused on Collections, Credit management, Billing and cash applications.</p> <p>As an Accounts Receivable Specialist you will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform Credit Reviews to establish payment terms for new and existing customers. Analyzing credit reports, historical payment history as well as any public information available. </li><li>Set up new and maintain existing customers in Customer Master. Ensure all AR records are accurate, up to date and compliant with company policies and procedures. </li><li>Daily AR monitoring and overdue customer accounts. Maintain communication with customers to address payment discrepancies or resolve billing disputes. </li><li>Highlight significant credit risk and collection issues to direct manager </li><li>Prepare and analyze AR reports, aging analysis, unapplied cash, short pay and other reports related to collections. Provide insights and recommendations to management for improving AR processes and reducing delinquencies </li><li>Work closely with internal teams including sales, customer service to discuss billing related issues and improve processes </li><li>Continue reconciliation of customer and G/L accounts </li><li>Create and submit daily invoices in timely manner through current ERP system and maintain special invoicing requirements by client. </li><li>Create Miscellaneous Invoices for Intercompany entities, when requested. </li><li>Assist direct manager with month end closing and annual audit </li><li>Support other finance functions as needed </li></ul> <p>We are looking for someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Holds a High School Diploma, Associate degree </li><li>Has 3 + Years of accounts receivable and cash application experience </li><li>Possesses knowledge of standard accounts receivable billing and collection practices </li><li>Has experience with Dun & Bradstreet or Creditsafe. </li><li>Has strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills </li><li>Has an attention to detail and high level of accuracy </li><li>Possesses excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues. </li><li>Has proficiency in account reconciliation processes and techniques. </li><li>Has the ability to Work efficiently and productively in multitask environment independently with minimal supervision </li><li>Is a team player with Initiative and ability to own projects from start to finish </li><li>Is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite </li></ul> <p>Ideally you will also have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with JD Edwards, SalesForce, Highradius or other major ERP Systems/Software </li><li>An understanding in Financial Statements, Letters of Credit, Lien Wavers </li><li>An ability to adapt to fast pace & changing environment </li><li>Problem Solver </li><li>Self-Starter & Team player helps the organization reach our common goals </li><li>High internal and external customer service skills </li></ul> <p>The Physical Demands / Working Conditions are:</p> <ul> <li>General Office Environment, PC use </li><li>Light Lifting (occasional 25 lbs or less) </li><li>Stooping </li><li>Standing </li></ul> <p>What we offer you:</p> <p>Typical pay is $57,400 71,750 annually.</p> <p>Please note the pay information shown above is a general guideline.
