Our company encourages diversity and inclusion in all its forms while our products make the world a more beautiful, safer, and sustainable home.</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>What's the job?</p> <p>The Environmental Engineer acts as a resource within the facility to other departments regarding employee safety, ensures environmental compliance, identifies, and completes sustainability projects, and leads the plant environmental improvement efforts.</p> <p>Is this job for you ?</p> <p>What do you bring?</p> <ul> <li>Lead the site efforts toward achieving company Energy and Emissions Objectives (2030 Goals) </li><li>Manage assigned environmental and sustainability projects </li><li>Develop capital cost, design and installation plans for new equipment specifically environmental equipment. Recommend equipment replacement to improve operations & reduce costs. </li><li>Secure required permits from governmental agencies for new equipment installations. </li><li>Implementation of approved capital programs within budget and schedule plans. </li><li>Participation on Equipment Safety Inspections. </li><li>Provides support to maintenance & plant operations as needed. </li><li>Manage the site Title V Air Permit Liaison with corporate EHS management </li><li>Monitors Federal, State and Local standards and regulations; recommends required new programs/elements to management and the Environmental Committee </li><li>Ensures company methods and procedures for communicating environmental, health & safety matters to employees are effective, and employee concerns and suggestions receive prompt response by management </li><li>Develop and implement policies and procedures to continually improve the facilities environmental program </li></ul> <p>To make sure nothing is forgotten</p> <p>Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products, CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
