Check out the Pregis Purpose to learn how sustainability and social responsibility is at the very core of our company DNA.</p> <p>Job Title: Converting Operator- Tier Four</p> <p>GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB</p> <p>The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring product adheres to our quality standards.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and safety standards </li><li>Perform machine startup, shut down and basic troubleshooting. </li><li>Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and productivity. </li><li>Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of machines. </li><li>Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. </li><li>Operating electric pallet jack, roll lifts and hoists. </li><li>Document production output, machine settings, and any issues encountered. </li><li>Performs quality checks per Pregis Quality Management System. </li><li>Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role. </li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and safety protocols. </li><li>Basic math and computer skills. </li><li>Mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. </li><li>5+ years of manufacturing work experience. </li></ul> <p>#AMB1</p>
