<p>Overview:</p> <p>Elda Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive educational environment. The successful candidate will work under the direction of certified special education staff to assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provide academic and behavioral support, and contribute to a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with instructional activities under the guidance of a certified teacher.</p> </li><li> <p>Support students with behavior management, daily routines, and transitions.</p> </li><li> <p>Help adapt classroom materials and activities to meet individual learning needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and support staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required;</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families.</p> </li><li> <p>Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting student development.</p> </li></ul> <p>Ability to lift and assist students as needed and perform duties that require physical activity.</p> <p>?</p>
