For more information about Bob Evans Farms, Inc., visit www.bobevansgrocery.com.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Business Analyst is an individual contributor responsible for supporting and collaborating with business partners to deliver solutions, analyses and research that support business goals and needs while leveraging new and existing technology. The Business Analyst is a key contributor to IT solution requirement gathering and documentation, testing solutions and process improvements throughout the organization. This position requires solid technical skills linked with strong organization and prioritization skills. Building strong relationships with cross-functional teams combined with knowledge of company data structure, operations, and processes is key focus areas for this IT support role.</p> <p>Accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develops a deep understanding of BEF business processes, procedures, solutions, and systems. </li><li>Assists with interpretation of business requirements into functional designs, specifications, and solutions. </li><li>Assesses business processes, anticipates requirements, uncovers areas for improvement, and supports solution selection/development/implementations. </li><li>Performs solution testing to assure the functionality and integrity of solutions while also supporting business user acceptance testing. </li><li>Assists Project Lead/Manager with IT project coordination, documentation, and follow-up. </li><li>Capable of applying multiple methodologies, e.g., Agile, Waterfall when performing duties. </li><li>Meets regularly with business users and technical experts to keep up to date with solution and/or process functional goals while building cross-functional relationships. </li><li>Identifies data quality issues and supports data governance initiatives. </li><li>Supports research and break fix/enhancements, assists technical team as needed. </li><li>Interacts closely with functional team end users to ensure technical and/or data quality expectations are satisfactory in the development and delivery of IT services and solutions. </li><li>Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner across the business. </li><li>Maintains a continuous improvement approach with BEF IT Teams and managed service providers to optimize application performance and proactively avoid issues. </li><li>Supports business training and education related to IT solutions, implementations, and process. </li><li>Continues to build professional business, and technical skills through practice, training, participation in user groups and education. </li><li>Supports multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Works in conjunction with all IT and Bob Evans Farms policies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Experience and Education:</p> <p>Education Level:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum, Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and IT/business operations experience </li><li>Desired, Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and IT/business operations experience </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of direct experience with business analysis, business intelligence or enterprise solutions with broad exposure to IT application delivery, system integrations, migrations, upgrades, patching and maintenance </li><li>1+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and organizing data </li><li>Experience in system design, development, or integration projects </li><li>Knowledge of business analytics and the interpretation of the output </li><li>Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Office, Microsoft Visio </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills </li><li>Knowledge of ERP applications, a plus </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>A good understanding of business operations and processes, including Trade/promotional Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations (within a Consumer-Packaged Goods and/or Food and Beverage industry knowledge is a plus). </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with company peers and Post Holdings partners. </li><li>Strong people skills - listening and informing others effectively. </li><li>Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. </li><li>Must be an initiative-taking self-starter. </li><li>Must possess the ability to always maintain external and internal confidentiality. </li><li>Excellent problem solving/analytical skills. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with technical and functional team members. </li><li>Highly motivated in uncovering and documenting process improvements and filing in knowledge gaps. </li><li>Strong technical background (Oracle experience preferred). </li><li>Ability to prioritize and demonstrate excellent time management. </li><li>Ability to organize effectively, support multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. </li></ul>
